EMERGEANDSEE looks back at more than a decade of festival history and wants to thank everyone for wonderful years of inspiring submissions and contributions. For this occasion we have rummaged in our festival treasure chest and composed a programme of never shown favorites, awarded short films from the past years and other descoveries, such as performances, music and talks.
In 2012 we open the curtain and have a closer look at the backstage of the festival production. On July 21st we will create a space in order to recognise various projects, ideas and visions within our special edition apart from the annual festival format.
Together with the Institut für Krimskrams/Audiovisual Laboratory Antje Oeklesund we will use the occasion to discuss ways of working together, formats and funding models in the context of arts and cultural production. In 2012 EMERGEANDSEE invites all friends and people interested to reflect with us in an experimental way. Join us, celebrate with us, be inspired, look back with us and think ahead…
